- The cavalry squadrons provide reconnaissance, security, and a quick striking force. In addition, the cavalry serves as advanced training for brethren who will move on to serve in the heavy assault squadrons. Six officers, 186 men.

- The special forces of the Templars, capable of operating independently to make direct strikes on the enemy or to recruit, train and lead indigenous forces. One officer, 11 men.

The official TO given may vary widely from actual current establishment, due to battle losses and Major Hudak's ability to scrounge up equipment and recruits.
