The paintings displayed on this site are a but small selection from a collection that numbers in excess of 400 paintings. The pictures are executed with soft pastels. The great majority are painted on  4 1/2" x 4 1/2" pieces acid-free colored papers. The pictures are not fixed in order to preserve their original freshness and texture. Unfixed miniature pastels are quite stable in contrast to larger pastel works

 

All the paintings are available for purchase framed or unframed. Commissions will be accepted for painting landscapes from you favorite photo.  Inquiries are welcomed either by e-mail or phone (301-581-0343). We ship at no expense to the buyer.
