We are located at 1109 American Legion Drive, Salisbury, MD, but we do not recieve mail at that address (see contact
us). We're just off Route 50 west of town, across from the National Guard Armory. Our post home sits on nearly
10 acres of land with a picnic pavilion, horseshoe pits, volleyball net, swings, and four campsites for overnight guests.
We also have a lounge and kitchen inside the post home, as well as a meeting room downstairs.
Our members have been privileged to serve our country during wartime. Because of this service, we consider it an
honor to be members of The American Legion.
Unlike the armed forces in which we served, there is no distinction of rank among us. We are composed of members
of every race, religion, occupation and political conviction. We maintain strict neutrality on all questions concerning
religion, politics and industrial strife.
Mission Statement
The American Legion cherishes four great principles: Justice, Freedom, Democracy and Loyalty. Our pledge is to veterans,
especially the disabled, the distressed, and their widows and orphans. Our cause of service to community, state and
nation is jealously guarded, and the opportunity to serve is offered to all members.

You will be most welcome here.
