  • Established and operated the company's first sales, support, and distribution facility outside of Ohio. Office was primary contact site for thirteen western states, and provided after-hours (Central and Eastern Time Zone) support for dealers and distributors.

  • Responsible for overseeing all operations, and personally handled the majority of clerical, sales, and customer support duties. Also responsible for a number of projects that were company-wide in scope and not usually considered a "branch" function:

    • Designed and implemented invoicing and inventory control system using off-the-shelf relational database software which remained in use until 1999 when the branch went online with the factory.

    • Initiated (1996), authored, and maintained company web site, as well as the sites for other company divisions. The Kent site made extensive use of Adobe® Portable Document Format files for product support. We were the first company in our industry to provide such extensive online support.

    • Developed, published, and maintained "Parts and Operation" manuals for all company hydraulic hammers, hydraulic plate compactors, and hydraulic crushing tool attachments.

    • Developed, published, and maintained product comparison guide to competitive models. Wrote article published in trade magazines which lead to the establishment of national product testing standards by C.I.M.A. now known as A.E.M.

    • Developed and maintained annual sales forecast spreadsheets published monthly for Regional Managers since 1991.

    • Created and published CD-ROM using Adobe® Acrobat software versions of all sales literature and parts/operation manuals.
