The magnificent Sea Breeze Villa is part of a small private enclave of five individually owned homes named Caye Villas that share a private beach and pool and are situated in the tropical gardens of a former coconut plantation, Mata Grande, on beautiful Ambergris Caye in Belize. It is close enough to enjoy the charm of San Pedro, the town on the island; but far enough away for privacy, peace and exclusivity. On arrival you will find lush tropical vegetation, white sand beaches, swaying palm trees, peace and serenity with stunning views of the sparkling Caribbean Sea and the Belize Barrier Reef. To get here, you will enjoy an a short,  boat ride in a private water taxi and will have the chance to enjoy some of the lovely scenery along the way. Your transportation will be arranged for you and your guests and one round-trip group transportation trip is included in your rental rate. 

Sea Breeze Villa is a private two-story residence that is decorated with island charm and features a huge 350+ square foot master bedroom and bath suite as one of the three bedrooms plus another two comfortable bedrooms with full hand-tiled ceramic bathrooms with double sinks and large walk-in, step-in showers. The main floor is on the second level with its own private terrace.  It features a spectacular Great-Room living area with soaring vaulted Belizean polished hardwood ceilings, coral stone floors and a pair of French doors that lead onto a spacious veranda with comfortable seating and magnificent views. From every vantage point in this large open room and the huge terrace, you will feel the gentle sea breezes and enjoy stunning views of the beach and the Belize Barrier Reef across an open expanse of turquoise Caribbean Sea. There is a full bath on this level for your convenience that includes a full-size shower and countertops that are colorfully coordinated in hand made ceramic tiles.

Our kitchen area is uniquely appointed with Belizean mahogany cabinets and hand-made glazed ceramic tiles complete with a mahogany breakfast bar and bar stools for casual eating or hanging with the cook. You’ll find it fully stocked and well equipped including a stove with butane burners that heat up extremely fast; a dishwasher to make clean up a breeze; a refrigerator with an ice maker; a coffee maker and grinder plus a cappuccino machine for all you coffee drinkers; a blender for those exotic, long, cool blended tropical drinks; and a microwave for when you want something fast. We also have an indoor/outdoor electric grill for use by itself or with its stand in either the kitchen or on the outside decks for all the great outdoors chefs.

If you like to cook or just like to know there is a pot to boil your lobster (when in season) in, you'll find that and much more in the cupboards. We have cook books and a recipe box. Please share your favorite recipe and put it in the card box! Some food, spices, condiments and staples are in the cupboards and refrigerator. The dining room table seats six to eight people comfortably and there are extra chairs for more.  You'll find place mats, cloth napkins and candles in the rattan hutch for the perfect dining experience.  In San Pedro or at the nearby Mata Grande Grocery, you can find everything else you will need for your meals and you can even arrange to have your groceries and supplies ordered online and brought directly to the villa before you arrive. What can be more convenient! Well, maybe the fact that we can put you in touch with a private chef!

We have a TV, VCR, DVD, CD stereo and DirecTV satellite dish. We have also provided games to play, books to read, a selection of family movies to watch and even some CD’s. You can also rent additional movies in San Pedro.  If you just cannot stand not to stay in touch with your home, you'll find unencrypted wireless satellite Internet service available in the villa as well as on the veranda and around the pool. Now, that's the way to stay in touch!  For your convenience, there is also a phone in the villa and all calls within Belize are free. 
 

For the ultimate pampered experience, laundry services, baby sitting or a private chef can be arranged.

Outside, on the upper terrace, you will find a table with plenty of comfortable chairs for outside eating as well as a hammock and local designed chairs and side tables.  Lean back and relax and enjoy the views of the magnificent Caribbean Sea, sip a cool tropical cocktail, read a book, or just luxuriate in the leisurely tropical experience far from your everyday stresses.

Just a few steps down from the upper level is a large, luxurious private self-contained 350+ square foot master bedroom suite, tucked conveniently off the entry foyer. This is the largest bedroom suite and features a king-size bed that can also be made into two twins, its own sitting area with a queen-size futon, glass block walk-in shower, his and hers color-coordinated sinks, hand-made glazed tile countertops and a walk in closet. It also has its own TV and features two sets of double glass French doors opening onto a small private deck on the back of the villa where you can experience beautiful sunsets. This deck has private stairs leading downstairs to the beach level as well.

An interior stairway leads down to the beach level where two more self-contained smaller master bedroom suites are located. You will have a sea view right from your bed! Each of these suites is fully self-contained with luxurious bathrooms featuring his and hers hand-made ceramic sinks and matching tiles, amazing large walk-in showers (one is a garden shower), spacious closets and fluffy towels awaiting your visit. Each bedroom has a private glass-door entry opening directly to a large beachside veranda where you’ll find a generous-sized hammock for two and comfortable Adirondack chairs for enjoying the view and the tropical ambiance.

Sleeping accommodations are flexible according to your needs.  The large upstairs master bedroom and one of the downstairs master bedroom suites have beds that are convertible from two twins to a king, depending upon your needs. Just let us know and we will have them arranged for you taste. The other downstairs master bedroom suite has a queen bed.  The living area has another queen-size futon for additional sleeping accommodations plus another fully tiled bath with shower.  There is also a wooden crib for the younger guests.  The Villa accommodates six in complete private luxurious comfort in the three bedrooms that each have in-suite full baths with double sinks and large walk-in showers, spacious closets and individual air conditioner to set the room temperature to your personal comfort.  However we can accommodate up to ten guests if needed.  If you have a larger group, we can help coordinate the rental of all or part of a neighboring villa or house depending upon availability. 

The whole house has air conditioning, coral stone floors, and wonderful local hardwood cabinets and trims throughout. This is the ideal place for the guests who just cannot imagine coming to this natural Belizean paradise and being confined to a hotel room, apartment or condo. You know you are in the tropics as you settle into the laid-back ambiance of this wonderfully appointed beach villa with a tall cool drink in hand, gentle breezes on your face, white sand between your toes and beautiful azure sea views.
