Diva came to me as a yearling filly. Registered Arabian and very hot and frightened. She lept out of an arena and
also out over the barn breezeway doors the first day and boy howdy, did she and I have a rowe! My friends were watching
in drop jawed amazement at us flying all around the corral. I wouldnt let her go because she would have met a barbed wire
fence.
I was told by naysayers that this spooky, biting, kicking, crazed horse would amount to nothing. Told she would
never be adopted for more than a dollar. Well I never gave up. I earned her trust and was rewarded by her loving me and becoming
a good girl. She finally had someones attention! All that acting out only meant she needed attention, of the right kind.
I knew this girl had to show, she had the most beautiful over reach and floaty dressage worthy movements.
Finally along came Regina, a tiny nymphlike girl who fell head over heels with Diva. But would Diva
return the affection? Well take a look below and look at them now. She just attended her first show and placed a 2nd and a
3rd. People were floored to learn it was her first show. Thank you Regina for loving Diva and seeing the wonderful possibilities
I saw in her! Keep us posted on Divas accomplishments!
I feel like the proud grandma and am happy to share this amazing horses success story with you all. Keep
checking back, we have more stories ahead!
HERE IS OUR LATEST NEWS OF DIVA. GOOD LUCK GUYS! KEEP US POSTED~ MERRY CHRISTMAS , LISA
Hey, Lisa! How are you? Sorry I haven't updated you in a while. Diva is going to her first Class A show next month
and I wanted to let you know ahead of time in case you'll want to peek in. It will be at the Pomona Fairplex on January 25th.
We'll be showing in three classes: Hunter Under Saddle, Sporthorse Under Saddle and Sporthorse In-hand. She's still as fiesty
as ever, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that she'll be in a good mood.
You should see her though. She's put so much muscle on and her tail drags the ground. We're hoping to get her qualified
for Regionals, but we'll see. Like I said, it depends on the Diva-ine mood.
Hope you are well! Love,
Regina and Diva.
