| /Book Your Trip/ |
| Because time is limited, it is extremely important to book your trip as early as possible. Our vessel, the Little Duck takes 2 to 6 passengers. If you have a larger party, we can sometimes partner with another guide to accommodate you. We will be happy to answer inquiries via e-mail littleduck1@verizon.net, but you must telephone to book your hunt day at 757-336--3254 or 757-894-3398 (cell). Our rate is $140.00 per day per person. A deposit of one half of the total price is required to confirm your trip. Our hunts begin one hour before sunrise and return at 3:00 p.m. Please note: you will need to acquire a valid Virginia hunting license prior to the hunt. See below, under What to Bring for more information. |
| /About the Area/ |
| Virginia's Eastern Shore and its barrier islands make up the least populated counties on the Eastern seaboard (human population). They are also home to one of the largest and most diverse populations of wildfowl in the United States.Given the location--an easy afternoon's drive from Philadelphia, Baltimore or Washington, D.C. and you'll see what a powerful attraction it has for Mid-Atlantic huntsmen. Chincoteague Island has excellent accommodations for sportsmen. We recommend the following as being among the best:
