Whistle Links
- The Clarke Tin Whistle Company has been making whistles since
1843, and is the most distinguished manufacturer
of tin whistles today. Find information on the history of
this popular Irish instrument and learn about the Clarke
products, such as whistles and tutorial cassettes. My favorite tin whistle is my Clarke green Celtic pennywhistle. It is beautiful, and has a wonderful bird-like sound--I love it!

at home, order, and wonderful musical instruments appear
at your door shortly after. I get most of my whistles from here.
- The Whistle Workshop offers MP3s and sheet music of many tunes. Often you can download a couple MP3 versions of the song, to see how the sheet music you see in front of you can be played in numerous different ways. Also has lots of tips about how to play better. An extensive number of good links too. Great site for the beginning whistler to help get them motivated to play more, or for the advanced whistler who wants to learn more tunes and tips.
- Feadóg Redux This is a wonderful website full of resources for anyone interested in the tin whistle. It includes detailed advice on the following topics: 'Choosing a Whistle,' 'Whistle Makers,' 'Care & Maintenance,' 'Learning to Play,' 'Finding Fellow Whistlers,' and 'Recordings.' Invaluable information, and a great layout too.

music you can print out and sound
clips for many
wonderful traditional tin whistle songs. A great
selection of music for the tin whistle for players at any
level. You can also order tin whistle books and Celtic
music CDs from this site through Amazon.com.

Whistlin' Dixie A cheerful site, with lots of traditional songs
that you can download and listen to, played on the tin whistle and ocarina by David Walker. Also has helpful descriptions of the songs.
