Actor Trenton Dane is researching his next role when he bumps into a beautiful stranger...and suddenly develops psychic powers. Glory Windsor is a psychic intent on losing her "gift"--and the traumatic consequences her abilities have caused.
When his enchanting benefactor disappears before he can so much as learn her name, Trenton must come to grips with his growing new power, and launch a search for the sultry woman who haunts his dreams. Will he succeed in time to fulfill steamy premonitions of a passionate encounter--and to save Glory and her child from certain danger?
EXCERPT FROM VISIONS:
The vision struck Trenton Dane as he stooped over a drinking fountain
to relieve the parching effects of the August Southern California sun.
For that was what he considered an encounter with a beautiful woman.
Perhaps it was overly poetic, he thought, but as an artist he
was required to stop and revel in the study of beauty wherever and whenever
it appeared.
An acting career had afforded him vast opportunity in this regard, surrounding him with Hollywood's most stunning examples of beauty. As such, his most recent studies had been conducted in the arms of model-turned-actress Giselle Roberts. Though he could not honestly say the vision now in his sights possessed the svelte, star-quality perfection of Tinsel Town's bevy, the jolt her approach caused him was enough to send a gurgling stream of water straight up his nose. And that, he reasoned, had to mean something.

Visions Q&A
Q. Where did you come up with the idea?
A. Odd things tend to pop into my brain when I either can't sleep, am in line at the market, or in the car. Okay, let's face it, just about ANY time, really. In this case, the idea of an up and coming celebrity touching someone and suddenly gaining psychic powers--and having to deal with that in a Hollywood where people either take it overly serious or think it grounds for the nuthouse--came to me one sleepless night.
Q. What's a "Paranormal Situationalist?"
A. It's a purely fictional title I came up with because that's what Clarice, the psychic advisor Trenton goes to for help, would do. After all, she's not only something of an eccentric, but she works in a Tinseltown community that's big on fancy titles and small on the mundane.
Q. Is Trenton Dane based on a real actor?
A. Yup. Actually, he's a blend of several stars and struggling actors
I know or admire.
Q. Which ones?
A. Heh heh heh. THAT I'll leave to your imagination...
Q. Plucky psychic characters would make great amateur sleuths, wouldn't they?
A. Hmm...could be. See Double Visions
for more on this idea...
