Here's where the real fun begins! In this section you'll learn about adding some effects to make your presentation look slick and pro.

  Special Effects Are FUN!

So much so that they can be addicting. And, more importantly, overused. Once you get rolling with transitions, the temptation to use them--all--can be powerful. But, "too much of a good thing," and all that...so do review your work with a critical eye and shave off extra whistles and doodads.

Okay...let's click our bottom timeline back to Storyboard Mode. See the tiny boxes in between images? If you position your mouse over one it will direct you to "drag a video transition here." That's just what we're going to do.

On your Movie Tasks menu, click on Edit Movie, then View Video Transitions (not "effects"--we'll get to that later).

This option will replace your image collections with an interesting set of graphics...
