And you, Natalee, and your families are still apart.
Their anguish and heartbreak is continually showing
Because of the constant day for day unknowing.
Someone, though, does know where you are
And whether where you are is near or far.
If only they would open up their heart
As they should have done from the start.
'Why' is such a big and ominous word.
Something that everyone has used and heard.
But, 'why' is not what we need to dwell upon every day.
What we need are truths and answers as to where you are today.
We have been dedicated to you and your families for 21 months, a time so very long,
And all this while our faith and hope has remained strong.
It is something that we must continue to do,
And we will, Natalee, because we care so much about you.
All of us together have shared so much and have become one.
We think of you and pray for you as each day is done.
As each new day dawns we continue to have hope and pray,
That just maybe it will be that wonderful day.
We will not stop or give up on you, Natalee.
Nor will we abandon or walk away from your loving family.
We know that soon something will come along,
That will let you be found and brought home where you belong.
