| It has now been 2-1/2 years since Natalee disappeared in Aruba. It is incomprehensible to know that, for all this time, there is someone who knows what happened to Natalee and where she may be and will not come forward and provide the answers to her grieving family. |
| So much time and effort has been put forth by so many dedicated and committed people - people who have such a love and compassion for Natalee and her family members. But, even with all of this tremendous effort and dedication, it remains that Natalee has still not been found and brought home. |
| Just recently, however, some new actions have been taken which is hoped to bring the answers that have eluded everyone for so long. Some of what has been said, though, does not sound good for the fate of Natalee - words that some have expected but never wanted to hear. But, we can not let these words, as heartwrenching as they may be, cause any of us to abandon hope for Natalee. |
| If anything, our dedication, our compassion, our love and our support for Natalee and her family members must not wane. We must continue to walk hand in hand, with an unwavering faith, with Dave, Beth and the rest of Natalee's family members. It has been a tremendously difficult time for all of them for so long, but the time coming will be even more foreboding. |
