Looking backward...
"I want the viewer to feel that they can walk into my painting with their mind and body, in order to experience a place
of visual expression."
"The imagery evolves from reflections of particular life experiences
and relationships, 'like snapshots of events in time', within a spiritual framework."
"Art is a limitless area, where all can grow, create, and experience the process."

History of My Art
It all began for me, as a young child... who was given colored pencils and crayons, but already possessed
artistic energy and passion, in the fourth grade.
Today, I use my art therapy specialization in mask-making, altered books converted into frames, and sandtray.

My Backgrount
I reside in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. I consider myself an artist, an art instructor, and an art
therapy specialist. A past- period painter of surrealism, I have progressed into a stylistic culmination of realism
with a textural and light quality of impressionism. My jewelry is another creative avenue within
the fine arts.
I obtained my B. A. in Art Education from Wagner College, a M.A. in Art Education from Kean University
with a specialization in Painting, a M.A. from Caldwell College in Counseling with Art Therapy Specialization.
I am a member of the Art Educators of New Jersey for thirty- five years. I am an art instructor at
Iselin Middle School, Woodbridge Township. I have exhibited my art in juried shows with galleries in New Jersey and New York.
I am a member of the Edison Arts Society, the American Art Therapy Association, the New Jersey Education Association, and
the New Jersey Counseling Association. I am a Board Certified Art Therapist with an ATR-BC and am a New Jersey
licensed associate counselor.
