Medusa Jellyfish c.2003 (sold)
This pattern I adapted from a drawing given to me by the friends who commissioned the panel.
It fits in an interior opening that has natural lighting. The Medusa is a white and clear Baroque glass and the surrounding
ocean is a swirling mix of glass that represents the textures and colors of the ocean depths.
This 28x28 inch octagon panel was shipped to Southeast Alaska where it arrived unscathed.
A Stones Flow c.2008
I designed and fabricated this window around 5 lake stones given to me for inspiration by a couple
from Burlington who commissioned this kitchen window. The contemporary design is set off with an array
of bevels that draw into the room a prism of light. I embellished with recyled glass such as a bottle
bottom from Russia, antique dinner plate pieces and roticello glass rods. The window is contempletive in nature with
an absence of color...Just the translucence of subtle white details, an irridescent black and clear Baroque artglass...setting
off the ebb and flow of various clear architectural artglass.
This is my first Vermont commission (sold)
Lehman's Iris c. 2002
I designed it to be framed into an existing bathroom window. The glass colors and textures
were chosen to allow for light while maintaining privacy. Since iris and dragonflies are favorites of mine, this was
a joy to fabricate.
