Typical large manufacturers ice cream is weeks or months
old. Hey, they can't help it, that's what big is all about.
We're small.
We make ice cream in small batches, freeze it to -25deg below
zero for 12 hours to lock in all those ingredients and have it ready to serve.
We use local ingredients when they become ripe and bursting
with flavor. We use Vermont Maple Syrup and Vermont fruits. We search out the best nuts and citrus. We use whole fruits
and organic origin flavors whenever we can find it.
Our commitment priorities are: Taste, Fresh, Local and Organic.
It's expensive and time consuming, but the results are
so incredible. We are proud to make Island Homemade Ice Cream.
