THE CHAMPLAIN ISLANDS
The Champlain Islands consist of South Hero, Grand Isle, North Hero, and Isle LaMotte.
US Highway 2 links the islands to the mainland via bridges and a causeway. Known for lake beauty, peacefulness, and the fall
apple harvest, the islands are a tourist destination.
Because of it's relative flat topography, bicyclists are "discovering" the Champlain
Islands.
We are fortunate to be able to live in a community where folks support local businesses. There are many hotels, B&B's
and cozy restaurants in the islands.
