Program for November 2009

The first half will be a showing of Apple’s latest computer offerings via the web pages from the Apple site. If you’ve seen or purchased any of them please contribute your comments. Perhaps we can get a discussion going on when and why to upgrade our computers.

The second half will feature “Faces” from iPhoto ’09. We will view a couple of tutorials from Apple and then try using the “Faces” method of organizing photos. There will be a member taking pictures of people at the meeting. These digital images will be the basis of identifying faces. We hope to find out how well Faces will do. If you have used “Faces” please contribute your experience at the meeting. In fact, you may, if you wish, to conduct this portion of the meeting.

And just before we adjourn, there is a mouse, free-running wireless, to be given away as a door prize, to a current member present.
