The Neal Family origin is Scott-Irish, landing on the Virginia shore at Norfolk, we went to Rockingham County,North Carolina, then on to Stokes County,North Carolina, settling in Danbury, and starting a family there. From Danbury we moved on to Abingdon, Washington Co., Va. From there we moved to Jonesville, Lee Co., Va.and on to Freeland, Baltimore Co. Md. I'm also researching the Wertz-Wirtz family from Md.& Pa. and the Marshall Family from Pa. and Md. My name is Tom Neal I live in the town of Hampstead, Carroll Co. Maryland with my beautiful wife "Ruth". We have two wonderful daughters Stephanie & Brenda. Stephanie is married to Jay Stickles and they have given us two beautiful grandchildren, Kyle Chapel and Savannah Clarese. Brenda is a full time employee at Western Maryland College in the housekeeping department. She has also given me a beautiful grandson, Tyler William Neal. I play 5 string banjo in a bluegrass band called Bluestone. I operate heavy equipment for
"Potts & Callahan" located in Baltimore,Md. and I am a 30 year member of I.U.O.E. Local 37
