The Third Saturday Melrose Contradances for the Community--
Last dance of the season!

Melrose Unitarian Universalist Church, 70 West Emerson St., Melrose, MA

Across from the Library

Suggested Donation $6

Our series in Melrose--all ages and abilities are welcome.

Band will include some of: Cammy Kaynor (caller, fiddler, winds), Peter Butcher (piano), Al MacIntire (accordion), Nickolas Kaynor (fiddle), Eli Kaynor (cello), Lia Kaynor (Assistant Dancing Master), and sit-ins welcome.

Celebrate the Summer Solstice, Arthur's graduation from High School, and the conclusion of the spring season of dancing in Melrose this Saturday.

The Indigo Buntings and Ovenbirds are filling the woods with their song! The peas are ripe on the vine. Ladies Slippers are fading as the Coreopsis unleashes its color. Many things are good. This Saturday's contradance is also a Graduation Party for Arthur who had a very successful time in High School and is going to Harvard in the fall.

During this contradance you are invited to partake of the refreshments, socialize, dance, and chat with the graduate. Lia plans to call one or two dances herself for the first time.

This dance is open to all ages and abilities and it is the perfect way to celebrate all good things.

Pictures from the May dance a year ago are at this URL thanks to Stew Stryker.

Newcomers are welcome.
No prior experience necessary.

Dances are carefully taught (it's easy).

Musicians may sit-in, play, or improvise.

Donations to support events
    are voluntary and flexible.
