Here Comes Baby!

Yes, we never thought it would happen, but it has. Join me as I document my journey to motherhood. I'll be posting a gallery of pictures for my remote family and friends to "see" me while I'm preggers.

Also, I have an online journal. I might not update it every day, but I promise to keep it fun and positive. (I'm keeping a private journal for all that TMI info that I really don't need anyone else to know! LOL!)

Weight Tracker

I'm such an Engineer at heart, that I am graphing my weight gain to make sure that it is steady.

ALL levels (thyroid, iron, sugar) are good, praise God!

I'm 4.5 lbs over plan, which is pretty good! Baby is a good size since my fundus measured 37cm at 36w, but last measured at 35cm. He's already starting his descent! That's a healthy boy!

Two Sets of Jones'

Since we recently found that baby is going to be a boy (EDD 3/19/04), there is a song in my head that will not go away. It's called Two Sets of Jones' by Big Tent Revival. The part of the song that keeps running through my head is:

"Reuben was holding Gideon's Bible,
He screamed, "It's a Boy!" so that everyone heard"

Even more important is the story of the whole song. It's a really neat song that came out in 1995. Check out the lyrics and you'll find an interesting comparison of living abundantly.
