I'll never ask why
the unicorns died
and why the dragons
flew away.
I'll never know why
the pegasi left
or where Atlantis sunk.
I shall never wonder aloud
where the magic went
or where the sea monsters are.
I'll never ask
for fear of labels
like fool, daydreamer, mad.
But questions remain
so long as I never ask.
Blackness grabs me,
my lover, my fear.
Claims my vision
my thoughts, and my body.
Bringing me low.
Heart racing.
Light headed.
Light.
My lover.
Fear.
Orange
Thirsty,
for drink,
wandering about the desert.
Crazy,
going wild
in the fall leaves.
Bold,
wanting to be noticed
by others.
a single flowera solitary pine
in a large field.

on a plane of white.
a tiny cottagebeing different
in a huge forest,
