The Dinosaur Book

If you like old dinosaur books, then you must search this one out and add it to your collection. 
The book has several pencil drawings by John C. Germann, but also includes illustrations by
Charles R, Knight, and other artists.  See entry for Dinosaurs: Their Discovery and Their World.


             

The illustration on the left is by F. L. Jaques, one of two by the artist contained in this book. 
F.L. Jaques painted many background murals for dioramas in the American Museum of Natural
History and was considered to be a skilled illustrator of birds.  The illustration on the right is an
Edaphosaurus by John C. Germann.
