Stories of the First American Animals, 1923,

This book is collection of fiction stories, although interspersed chapters are included that provide some scientific and geologic background to the stories.



It appears that the author, Langford, was responsible for the pen and ink drawings.



The five watercolors, all depicting prehistoric mammals, are by Ty Mahon.  These pieces are nicely done.
