. . . It was August 1999, when Gift Ministries was born. I was on a softball team for my church. Surprisingly we were rather good. But one thing we lacked was integrity. You could not tell that our team was from church because you would hear rude comments from our bench about our own team and it didn't stop there, there were rude comments about the other team we were playing and comments from our fans who were criticizing the other team. That made me so mad! Here we are "CHRISTIANS" who are supposed to be an example of Christ and we were the total opposite.

After one of our games, I was driving home and having an angry prayer with God. I asked God, "if we are made in Your image why do people make fun of and criticize others? To me that means we are making fun of and criticizing God." I don't know if I had ever been so angry in my entire life. It didn't stop there, as I was driving home I would see graffiti on the walls, sidewalks, streets and even rocks, I was livid.

To make a long story short, God used that event in my life and put a vision in my head. The vision was "you will start ministries to help people of all ages, backgrounds and life situations. You have been given gifts, give back what God has given you."
