Purpose/Goal: To touch the lives of senior citizens in our community, to provide physical, emotional and spiritual assistance to those in need of such a service.

Current Operation: Currently we visit one senior community in our area, the Rudoulph Hendrix Apartments, on the last Saturday of every month. We arrive at the facility at 9am and enjoy donuts and coffee while we mingle with the patrons. After about an hour or so we receive the names of members throughout the facility that are in need of having beds turned, help with things in their apartment or just "some cheering up!" We break off into teams of 2-3 people and go to as many rooms as we can to visit before 12 noon, after noon we all meet back again in the clubhouse before leaving the facility.

We also have a Thursday evening Bible Study open to all of the seniors.

Future Plans: We would like to build up a team of volunteers who would visit all of the different senior communities in the area. Possibly having a team for each community, therefore allowing relationships to grow with the visitors and patrons. Our ultimate goal is to have a senior visitation team for every senior community in the Inland Valley, and for as far as God allows.
