Places to Help Animals

Click on the Animal Rescue Site once a day to feed homeless animals. Also links to sites to help feed people, save the rain forest, provide free mammograms, and promote literacy

Days End rescues and rehabilitates abused and neglected horses. It's a great organization that really helps horse.

The International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros works to help the last remaining wild horses in the U.S. They operate out of the Cheyene River Reservation in South Dakota and they could really use your help.

The American Humane Association has been helping animals and children for generations. They also monitor film and video shoots to make sure no animals get hurt during productions. And they assist in disaster response for companion animals, farm animals, and wildlife.

Buffalo Field Campaign is working to save the last remaining wild bison from the Montana livestock producers who are systematically killing them as they migrate in the winter from Yellowstone National Park in search of food. I don't eat beef in support of these buffalo who are the scapegoat for diseases that cattle get due to lack of proper livestock management. We must fight to save these buffalo. Farm Sanctuary is working to help farm animals which aren't protected under federal animal welfare statutes. The people who raise these animals for food can treat them as cruely as they want to and they do. Farm Sanctuary is an important organization and they need your help.


Remember, even though you may be worried sick about your missing pet, there has never been a better time to have a missing pet.  There are more reputable resources, support groups, listserves, organizations, and animal aware people now than anytime in history.  Just think what the Internet is doing to help animals.
