Our Goal
Crawford County Solid Waste Management District strives to provide quality services to residents through recycling and waste disposal sites, bi-annual Clean Sweep events, community and school education programs, and a compliance program.

Upcoming Closings:
Labor Day
The office will be closed on Monday, September 1st  in observance of Labor Day. Sites will be open on Saturday, August 30th.

Wintry Weather:
In the winter season, cold weather, ice, snow and freezing rain may make use of our sites difficult. If this is the case, we may be closed. The Solid Waste District USUALLY follows the same delays and closings as the schools. We will close at any time that weather is deemed to be unsafe for site customers or staff. Please call the office to check on possible closings.

Green Spinning Bottle

Recycle Your Glass!
Did you know that all three recycling centers in the county accept clear, green and brown bottle/jar glass? Recycling your glass preserves our natural resources- it takes less energy to melt recycled glass than raw sand to make new glass.
Rinse out your glass bottles and jars and bring them to your local recycling center!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
