This rear end fell victim to the hell of 165,000 miles in Chicago winters. It was struck with cancer
as you can see below. But the tubes were straight, everything was in tact, & the price was right. Not
to mention it was winter in Indiana & I needed something to occupy my time... Click on

Pics after media blasting, grinding, sanding, & then smoothing. Housing is painted with Eastwood Chassis Black
spray paint. Yes thats right it was painted with a "spray bomb"...

Build up of the rear end to come soon. It will house a 3:73 gear but the brand of diff is not decided as of yet.
Since I would like to handle well in the corners it will be a limited slip. Fast & straight is exciting but the
real fun is carving the corners...
