In the early 1990’s Salvation Army director Phil Parks, discovered that several families in the local area did not have the money to enjoy the Christmas Holiday’s. Not being able to see this happen Phil contacted some local businesses and the Salvation Army main office to get the funds to help these families have a joyful Christmas after all! So began Christmas on the Chesapeake |
