Welcome to our little world!
|
 |
When Ms. Mary began creating this
web site, she wrote, "Future developments might include photos of, and messages from, the menagerie that has established itself
on the top of my bookshelves and whose stuffed (overstuffed?) members have overflowed into the two bottom shelves of one unit
and whose introverted members occasionally drop onto the sofa for a much-needed timeout from the crowd."
Well, we -- the Bookshelf Menagerie
-- have taken over. Not only have we gained territory on the bookshelves, but we have gained territory on this web site.
Please join us in this adventure on the Internet
as we -- the bears, ducks, reindeer, moose (why not meese or mooses for the plural?), lambs, bunnies, giraffes, snowmen, flamingo,
owl, lion, camel, zebras, and Puff -- carry you with us beyond the limits of time and space into the wonderful world of the
imagination.
Remember to put on your suspenders (suspend disbelief)
as you enter our world where all things are possible ... and usually happen sooner or later.

Yahoo! finally discontinued its
association with Geocities web construction, so my site there is gone. Finally! It was frustrating to be unable
to access the web site and update it. We now have a nice home here on Verizon. I have no excuse for not keeping
it current ... oh, dear, the menagerie is listening ...
This Verizon web site
creation process is challenging. In some ways it is easier to work with than GeoCities, and in other ways it is more
difficult. Oh, well. Challenges are what keep our brains from rusting.
