Kevin
Scott Collier - Kevin's interpretation
of the wild and wacky characters in "Rattlesnake Jam"
gives grandparents a new persona. This rhyming tale slides beyond
crazy, thanks to Kevin's artwork - YEA!
*Mustafa
Delioglu - a
Turkish illustrator, and artist of renown in Europe, immediately
identified with the spirit of "Kangaroo
Clues." I love how he infused an element
of danger and mystery into his illustrations.
NOTE:
If you like Mustafa's illustrations
E-mail him here This is Aytul's
e-mail, because she translates for him.
*Aysin
Eroglu - Another
talented illustrator from Turkey. Her art work for "Never
Say BOO to a Frilly,"
adds fun and drama to my Aussie critters. Aysin is a celebrated
illustrator who has done work for UNICEF, and has her work
in European galleries. E-mail
OF INTEREST
- *Aytul
Akal acted as English interpreter
for both the Turkish artists above. Without her generous and insightful
interaction, none of this would have been possible. Aytul is also
famous, in her own part of the world, for her
delightful children's books, many of which are illustrated
by Mustafa Delioglu. I have some of her books in the English translations,
and they are simply wonderful. E-mail
*Amy
Moreno - This artist's many jewel
like colors make my "Humdinger Hummers"

*Rebecca
Holdsworth - Careful attention
to detail, and quirky characters, makes this artist's illustrations
in"Don't Eat Platypus Stew,"
lively fun. Website soon!
