We had a very good studio session today.  I didn't get the mp3 though as it was just the basics for the songs.  We put down three songs that will be a bit more acoustic than the other songs.  Draw Closer, Tender Love, and Returning were the three songs.  Mike Keefer played bass (fretless on two of them) and Alan Bingaman played djembe on the session.  This coming Friday, I will put down the real acoustic parts and some vocals.  If you search through the site, you will find Tender Love as I recorded it at home.  Lord's blessings to you all!   

We had a good session today.  Tim Scott and Carla added their vocals to Watches Over Me.  Tom added an awesome eguitar line.  Finally, I added a couple parts on the MicroKorg.  That little keyboard is fun. 

 

It was great having Tom on the eguitar.  Bible says our kids are a blessing from Him and that is exactly so.

 

Everyone on this song is either a pastor or a worship leader.  There is a blessing on Watches Over Me.  It was birthed in collaboration, which always brings the Lord's blessing.  And it continues in a collaborative effort between pastor and worship leaders.  Lord, let Your Breath and Truth go forth with this song.
