Ucluelet (CN78) and Tofino (CN79) are on the west coast of Vancouver Island on the north side of Barkley Sound, another of my favorite fishing areas.   The CN78 site chosen was on the peninsula at the coast guard station.   Trees blocked the path, but it was good for a few South Puget Sound contacts.   Later I moved north 30 minutes to Radar Hill in CN79.  This was a good location, though a thin row of trees still block the view SE to population centers.
