A special message from Marie J. Parente
I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation and sincere thanks to the thousands of voters from the 10th Worcester District who supported me over the years, and the hundreds of individuals and organizations who contributed financial and other resources, called voters, sent letters and e-mail messages, held signs at the polling places, hosted coffee parties, folded envelopes and performed a myriad of other tasks so that I could serve the people of the district.
I am proud of my 26 years of service to the district and the Commonwealth, and the 9 years of service to the people of Milford as a member and Chair of the Board of Selectmen. I am grateful to the people of the district for allowing me the privilege of serving them in the State House, and happy that I was able to touch the lives of so many in a positive way.
