Ashlyn Kate

Ashlyn is 4 years old as of January 29th. Preschool has been fun for her. I've just started doing "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons" with her. She really is making big strides with it. She enjoys our time doing the lessons and is retaining quite a bit of information. She's a neat kid. I enjoy my time with her.

Christmas festivities were extra special this year as we spent time with Granddaddy who had been in China for about 5 months and enjoyed time with our Chinese friends Tony and Lily. In tihs picture, my niece Maddie, Ashlyn, our foster niece Aylin, and our niece Abby pose in their new Chinese robes that Granddaddy brought home to them.
