"The Klasinc & Lončar duo is an excellent guitar ensemble with a serious and dedicated approach to an interesting and varied repertoire. I was especially impressed with wonderfully transcribed and splendidly executed Gershwin's Preludes and Schumann's Scenes from Childhood; it is this kind of detailed and stylistically well-conceived work that puts this guitar duo on par with not only the first rate guitar ensembles, but on an equal footing with other excellent chamber groups. Mr. Lončar's transcriptions not only give justice to the originals, but add a whole new orchestral dimension to the music the duo plays. "By the calendar, it was still winter; but last March, the Klasinc & Lončar Guitar Duo literally brought 80-degree summer breezes when they arrived here in Iowa. Likewise, their concert transported us to various climes and places.
