Tiling
Kat and I have been working on retiling our fireplace over the last couple of weekends. We finally have the tile we might use narrowed down to four options. Take a look and feel free to let us know what you think.

Hi Everyone. Just wanted to give you a quick update. After a relative cool week of temps in the 70's, the weekend hit with a beautiful sunny 81 both days. Yesterday Greg and I walked Joey down to Starbucks and then to the park. Joey was pretty scared and stayed in her travel bag most of the time- but she did stick her nose out once in a while- so I have hope for her yet.
Kat got a new job! I totally forgot to post about it because I was so excited. Starting July 17, Kat will be working for a company called Attenex, who makes the software that she's using at her current job. The company is even located on the same floor in the same building as she's working now. It should be a great opportunity for her and it comes with a hefty pay raise! Hoo Wah!
On Friday, Mags (a wife of one of my former coworkers) sent me a message saying that a friend of theirs (named Lana) was going to be out in the area interviewing at Microsoft. Lana asked Mags if she knew anybody in the area worth hanging out with, and she recommended Kat and me. So this weekend, we ended up hanging out with Lana and later on, hooked up with our friend Ramey. Here are some quick photos.
Kat and I took advantage of our three-day weekend by heading up to the Olympic Peninsula to do some hiking and camping. The weather sucked, but it was still way better than any weather we've had camping to date.
I'm down to my final week as a Game Designer at Cranky Pants Games. Starting April 3, I will officially be a Gameplay Programmer at Cranky Pants instead. I've been dying to get back into programming for awhile now, so this will be a good move for me.
Well, the weekend is slowly coming to an end, but it was a good one. On Saturday, Kat took Joey Joe Joe to the vet to get her shots and she only came back with minor wounds. (Kat, that is.) I, meanwhile, stayed behind to do laundry and play some more Guitar Hero. Later that day, Kat and I grabbed a bunch of appetizer-like food, beer, and wine, and headed over to visit some friends of ours to eat and play Bridge. Kat and I are still learning the game, but it's already a lot of fun.
