Ham Radio Experiance

My first exposure to ham radio was in 1965 when I passed my novice exam and 5 wpm code. My first call was WN9NPO. I didn't upgrade and so stayed dormant until 1999.

Since August 1999 I renewed my interest in ham radio and studied and passed the no code technician test and became KB9VCT. In April 2000 I passed my general exam.

In April 2000 my XYL passed her no code technician exam and became KB9WOJ. Then in 2002 I retired and we move to West Virginia and we applied for our vanity call signs. My XYL, Maxine, is now K3MAX and I became K3MIC.
