As with any new project, an inventory of parts must first be gathered up. I laid out some parts I knew that were needed
and then mount them on a breadboard. After a little circuit design and experimenting, I wired it up and tested the circuit.
I played around with the circuit until a good design was achieved.

Next I wanted to design how the front face of the radio will look like. This time I chose to have my radio look similar to
an old style radio, the Hallicrafters S 20R short-wave radio
| these were designed using a Mac computer |

With the front face plate laid out, it was time to cut the wood front panel. Using the face layout, it is then easy to cut
to size the wood backer and cut out all necessary holes. Then I cut out and attached the radio chassis where all my parts
will be permanently mounted.
