Here, at least in the country, it's not "Do you go to church?", it's "What church do you attend?". That's how I'm asked. In NY, only one of my neighbors attended a church, here most do. I go to this little Catholic church that looks like something out of "Little House on the Prairie", called Santa Rosa, in Andice, Texas (we've since built a new church). From the first day, people in the congregation came right up and welcomed me. The "peace offering" is a big thing, as is holding hands during the "Lord's Prayer". Kids are a priority, and they are all well behaved. If you haven't been to church in awhile, being here will bring you back, just take your pick. All denominations.
