Persimmon: Beautiful, golden-orange tomatoes have one of the best flavors of all
orange tomatoes. Average 5 in. diameter and between 1 and 2 lbs., quite meaty
with few seeds. Vigorous plants bear well. Indeterminate. 80 days. |

Yellow
Brandywine: Large yellow fruit of exceptional
quality, creamy texture, and delicious flavor. Fruit size is from 12 to 24
ozs., and tall vines have healthy, potato-leaved foliage. An extremely
rich-tasting tomato, this one is also beautiful due to its smooth, not rough,
shape. Indeterminate. 90 days. |

Yellow
Brandywine, Platfoot Strain: This special strain of Yellow Brandywine
comes from seed saved by Gary Platfoot of Ohio, who felt that it had special
attributes that were only adding to an already wonderful variety. The main
improvements of this strain are increased productivity and a smoother shape
than regular Yellow Brandywine. Otherwise, Platfoot strain offers the same
incredibly rich and delicious flavor in deep golden-yellow tomatoes that
weigh from 1 to 2 lbs. Tall vines have potato-leaved foliage. Indeterminate.

Yellow
Giant Belgium: This golden-colored heirloom tomato has been grown and seed
passed down by families for 150 years. It is believed to be a yellow version
of Giant Belgium, and has huge tomatoes of a comparable size, fruit weigh from 1 to 2 lbs. The
flavor is wonderful. Vine growth is vigorous and large. Indeterminate. 85-95
days. |

|
Brandywine: This variety is legendary for its very exceptional rich, succulent flavor.
Large pink-red fruit can become 1-1/2 lbs. with creamy flesh. Vines grow
quite tall and have potato-leaved foliage. An Amish heirloom since 1885.
Indeterminate. 80 days. |

Pink
Brandywine, Sudduth's Strain: This is widely known as the original Pink
Brandywine strain, obtained by Ben Quisenberry from Dorris Sudduth Hill,
whose family had grown it for more than 80 years. Many gardeners
consider this strain the best Brandywine with fruit that is superior in taste
and smoothness. Its tomatoes are indeed special, 1 to 2 pound pink
beefsteaks with the delectably complex, rich, sweet flavor that has made
Brandywine justifiably famous. Indeterminate. 85 days. |
|
Large
Pink Bulgarian: This heirloom variety sets an
abundance of dark pink beefsteak tomatoes that weigh from 8 ozs. to 1 lb.
What sets this type apart is that the fruit has typical sweet flavor found in
pink varieties, but it is also high acid, making for excellent taste--mild
yet intense. Productivity is very good and fruit is solid meat with few
seeds. Wonderful flavor not to be missed. Indeterminate. 85 days. |
|
The Mexican: Very large plants have an excellent set of
huge, dark pink fruits with outstanding taste. It is unusual to find a
variety that bears such large fruit in generous numbers and maintains such
superb taste. And to add to that, you can expect steady, continuous
production of tomatoes that weigh more than 1 3/4 lb to 2 3/4lb. throughout
the growing season. This family heirloom was brought into the |

Super Heavyweight Yellow Bell Pepper: Gardeners who enjoy growing vegetables to brag about will love this
pepper that weighs an impressive one-half pound. This is a heavy pepper, and
not only is it absolutely huge, it is also deliciously sweet, especially when
it fully ripens to golden yellow. Thick walls and a high vitamin C content
lend it well to using fresh in salads or for cooking or stuffing. 77 days. |
|
Peto Wonder Red Bell Pepper:
Very large, thick-walled European type
bell pepper. Elongated shape is 6-1/2 inches long and 4-1/2 inches wide at
the shoulder. Dark green peppers are sweet and turn deep red at full
maturity. When red, this pepper has more vitamin C than an orange. Vigorous
plants are tobacco mosaic virus resistant. 75 days. |
