In 1993, while living in DC, 2 children tried to kill me, by striking me across my face with either a shovel or baseball bat. They were hunting to kill a gay person, as they were yelling "I'm going to kill you faggot". They had no idea I was gay, other than I was in a predominantly gay neighborhood. This initiated PTSD in me.

Falwell had also announced to his entire congregation, which was also televised, that it certainly was a shame that Bill Connelly had accepted himself as a homosexual ... what a shame and a waste at his age.

Your continuing to publicly post this 2001 incorrectly stated (inflammatory) article, is causing me damage:

Man admits Falwell bomb threat

Lynchburg, Va. -- A gay man pleaded guilty to threatening to blow up Rev. Jerry Falwell’s church in response to Falwell’s anti-gay remarks after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Bill Connelly initially faced the felony of making a threat to burn or bomb a building. Under the November 13 plea agreement in Lynchburg General District Court, Connelly was sentenced to six months in jail on two misdemeanor counts of using obscenities or making threats by telephone. The sentence was suspended on the condition that Connelly be on good behavior for a year and have no contact with Liberty University, where Falwell’s office is located. Connelly made three phone calls to Falwell’s office on Sept. 17, cursing and threatening to blow up the church. Falwell has been widely criticized for comments he made Sept. 13 that gays, the ACLU and others had made the U.S. vulnerable to the attacks.

It has possibly caused a young person at my Mother's Nursing Home to panic, and through gossip, has caused me to lose my privileges to visit my Mother.

I ask you once again to remove said article. I did not threaten to blow the church up (I was calling the legal department at the University). My lawyer and the Virginia Commmonwealth Attorney's Office, made me say it that way in court, to get the Commonwealth Attorney's technical charges reduced to Misdemeanors. You also fail to mention in the article, that the now deceased, Rev. Falwell was blamed by the Judge, and Commonwealth Attorney's Office, for actually provoking the response. I was not required to seek counseling, and the Chief Investigator stated no one had cleared any buildings, and he did not feel I was ever an actual threat as well.

Your continuingly posting of such an article is causing me damages yet again, now in the end of 2009, 8 years after the incident.

Does this please you and your staff? give you some sense of Self-Righteous Indignation and feeling of accomplishment?
