Meetings

Mothers & More of Charleston, West Virginia welcomes sequencing women from throughout the Mountain State. We meet monthly in Charleston. These monthly meetings are for moms only, though infants under one year of age may accompany mom. Guests may attend three meetings before becoming a dues paying member.

Meetings are held at the Appalachian Reading Center, 440 Third Avenue, South Charleston.

Other Activities

Our chapter organizes a variety of activities throughout the year to meet our members' interests and needs.

Seasoned moms (those with school-aged children) meet for topical conversation and socializing. Ongoing social events include Book Club, "Mom's Night Out," Family Fun Events, and Arts & Craft Club.

Weekly playgroups are hosted at member homes and at community parks. Playgroups and other events held at the homes of members are for members only.

“Making the Most of Your Volunteer Time”
Join us as we discuss our motivations for selection volunteer activities, learn about specific volunteer activities available in the community, and discuss volunteering goals for our local chapter. Guest speaker, member and Director of the Coventry House, Amy Weintraub will discuss volunteer opportunities and resources that are available in the area. Any members who are currently involved with volunteer opportunities and who like to share an overview of their work would be a great addition to the meeting. Appalachian Reading Center, 440 Third Avenue, South Charleston.
