The Mount Union Police Department reminds residents and visitors of the Borough to please lock your vehicles while they are parked along the street. There have been numerous reports of thefts from vehicles, a majority of which where the vehicle was left unlocked. Don't be an "easy target", LOCK your vehicle!

K-9 Unit receives recertification
May 22, 2009: The Mount Union Borough Police Department congratulates the K-9 Unit on a successful week of training and re-certification in Altoona, PA under the direction of Master Trainer James Walstrom of Keystone K-9, LLC. Corporal Lippmann and K-9 Saxon received certifications as a dual-purpose K-9 Team in Narcotics Detection and Patrol and Chief Richtscheit and K-9 Tara received certification in Narcotics Detection!
