All breeds welcome to board. Morning Sun Kennel is a comfortable small boarding only
accepting 8 dogs or cats at a time. We offer experienced care for dogs and cats while owners are on vacation.
The facility is heated and air conditioned. Bedding is changed each day and a variety of feeds are available.
Owners may bring their own food and toys. Bowls, bedding are "in house" as they are designed to be
sanitized.
First Time Clients:
Please plan to visit
the kennel with your pet before making a reservation.
Please be prepared to leave a deposite for half of your boarding bill when you
are a new client. Boarding fees are calculated by calendar day.
What To Bring with You:
- Proof of the following vaccinations:
- DHLP( Yearly or titers proof), Rabies(good for 2 years in WV) and Bordetella .
- Use of veterinarian supplied flea and tick and heartworm protection .
- Toys and treats can be left for your pet and a favorite blanket or sock that has your scent.
- Packaged and marked medications if required
- Own Food packaged in individual feedings if you wish to keep your dog on his regular feed.

M-W-F 8:00-10:00 am and 4:00-6:00 pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays By Appointment
Saturday 8:00-10:00 am
Sundays 4:00-6:00 PM
About Our Hours:
Because dogs in training for agility and field work are off lead, it is imperative
that cars do not enter the farm during hours we are closed. If you are going to be late
picking up your pet, please plan to come the following day. The entrance gate is locked during closing hours.
The kennel is closed on the major holidays. Your dog or cat will receive the same care, but
we won't be available for check-ins or check-outs.
Fees
Boarding: 15.00 a calendar day for small dogs,
$17.50 for large dogs,
$12.50 for cats
All fees except training are subject to WV 6% tax
