Ira Bernac(sp) was the member involved with the ricochet. A 9mm pistol was used and he was on the pistol range. He says he was training in different styles of shooting. While approaching the metal hanging steel targets he was struck. Ira says he was maybe 10 yards from the steel when incident occurred. Ira was on a motorcycle, so to be safe he called and was transported to the hospital in an ambulance. Ira received 4 stitches on the forehead. He returned later that day to pick up his bike and then had to travel to the police department to pick up his guns, for the police had arrived with the ambulance. Ira turned his firearms over to the police for he was on the bike, his firearms were returned after that day and after quite a bit of paperwork.

June 4th 2007 meeting results
Monthly work nights will be held the 2nd Monday of each month starting in July... check calendar They will start at 7pm or there about and as people are able to arrive... 1/2 hour to 1 hour of work ... that's it... trash removal and range clean up… Most times it will be one or two items to be worked on such as weed whacking, trash pick up, mowing, window repair, cleaning indoor range... As long as some little bit is done each month the club will continue to improve.

Saturday work day, This has been added for weed whacking rifle and pistol ranges and remaining brush removal from the rifle range and what ever else we can get done is a few hours... Time will be 9am-12 noon + I don't expect to get everything done but it will be a good start...

Dumpster rental not financially practical at the present time. Mowing... in house ...an old used lawn boy push mower was donated ... if you would like to put some time in feel free to mow a bit... gas oil mix for lawn boy is near mower under car port. Buying a tractor only if very, very inexpensive... free is preferred Fencing in car port area... only after a riding mower or tractor is obtained... another lawn boy or other free push mower or two would help as well... Walk behind brush hog $82 a day too expensive 4) Range clean up... Saturday, June 23rd 9-12noon Not worked on regarding flew and tuck pointing/ flashing repair to date Discussion on layout of new kitchen. 2007 newsletter to be sent out this week of the 4th John Muller, Jan Nye and Susan Pasdon are the committee to work on revisions of the club's constitution and by-laws
