The club was created in 1941. The property was purchased in 1949. Its first club house was a log cabin,(still standing but not in use) no electrical or plumbing. Yes folks, the members had to rough it with an out house (still standing) for a bathroom and a wood stove for heat in the winter. The modern club house/indoor pistol range was built in the 1950's where heat, plumbing and electrical were all installed (what a relief).
