Welcome to NCCSC's web site.
We are located at 331-343 Hopewell Road, Elverson in Warwick Township, Northern Chester County, PA. 19520. Southeastern Pennsylvania, Surrounded by French Creek State Park and 1 mile East of the historic Hopewell Furnace.
 
Our gun club membership is comprised of men, women and families from the surrounding communities who enjoy the shooting sports.

Northern Chester County Sportsmen's Club 
is actively seeking new members.
Dues:
     $40.00 for an individual.
     $50.00 for a family
     (Husband, Wife and children under 18 years)
     Junior membership available 16-18 years
          (ask for details)
Requirements for joining.
     NRA membership
     (The NRA requires NRA membership since NCCSC insurance is through the NRA)
     Attendance to one meeting or work day.
     Mailed in applications are acceptable but attending at least one meeting or work day/night is still required. Sponsored membership applications must include a self addressed stamped envelope or card pick up must be at a meeting.
 
Applicant's, please show up early to the meeting. Meeting does not start until the Membership Secretary finishes his paperwork.

Keep Ranges Clean

6pm - 7pm shorter if possible
Range Clean up
mowing weed whacking and small tree/branch/brush removal from pistol range. If it is raining then that work day is cancelled.
 
Weekend Work Days
Some projects will require a
Saturday or Sunday

June 20th:
Weather permitting
              Clean up ranges/ swap out some light brackets to heavy duty brackets
              Spray brush killer around ranges
              Dig 35 yard post holes on pistol range for back stop
              Drag logs down from rifle range for use as posts.
              Cut some small trees down behind club house & drag into woods
              Move spectators bench from trap line to balloon shoot line
              Dig out small tree stumps with back hoe
              Dig out rocks around property- mowing hazards
              Prepare area for new steps
Fowl weather jobs
              Clean out log cabin for use as garage
              Remove drywall rubble from club house
              Tarp car Port
              Move barrels and misc. from under car port to behind club house
              Clean up under car port
              Clean out gutters
              Return gravel to drive from snow plowing
              Board up concession area at rifle pavilion
Not all jobs expected to get done in one day!
July 18th:
             Build Archery target/stand... maybe
             Build rifle range wall?... maybe
August 15th:
September 19th:
October?
November 21or 28th? Remove Trap machine
 
 

Meeting Nights
1st Monday of each month at 8pm.
Public Welcome!
 
If meeting night falls on a holiday, then the
meeting date is moved to the following Monday.
 

1st Sunday of each Month of the year
10:30am - 12 noon

3 Shots for $5.00
All positions use "off hand"
50 yards, pistol,
75 yards, iron sights rifle
100 yards, scoped rifle  
Use of shooting coats or slings not allowed.
1 Prize allowed per each distance.
Currently
Prizes are $10.00 gift certificate to
Shady Maple Smorgasbord
Upon occasion we will have a novelty shoot
of paint ball at 100 yards for a prize,
this will be 1 shot for $1.00.

12 point firing line
Forty five plus foot distance.
Open to Public - Subject to Small Fee

Trap Cancelled for tonight 25 jun 2009

20 Jun 2009 Workday
Thanks to Tom Best, Rob Steiner and John Muller for attending a very wet workday. Club house clean up was done along with the construction of a shotgun patterning board target. This back stop is almost complete and will be placed to the right of the number two trap house when complete. It will be only for patterning shotguns.

The cut lock and chain has been replaced.
