MVRS is always looking for more volunteers to help our station grow. We have several membership categories so that everyone can find the one that fits them the best. No training or experience is necessary, Fauquier County provides free training for all volunteers and there are many courses available with different schedules.

Juniors
Ages 16 and up, must maintain C or above average.

Introductory
Best for prospective members with no experience who would like to get an idea of whether or not volunteering is right for them.

Probationary
For people who have been a member of other fire or rescue stations in the past with experience.

Special
This category is for people who only want to drive, only want to be an EMT or cannot commit to a 12 hour a week duty schedule.

Associate
Running calls not for you? You can still donate your time and skills to the station for tasks such as fundraising and daily operations. Requires no experience or certifications.
