The Keystone State Games are Pennsylvania's largest amateur athletic festival. Modeled after the Olympic Games, they are annually held multi-sport competitions providing Pennsylvania's amateur athletes an opportunity to compete against other athletes from throughout the Commonwealth in the Summer Games, Winter Sports Festival, and the Pennsylvania Senior Games.

Since being established in 1980, the mission of the Keystone State Games has been to promote physical fitness and sports activity as a health improvement and disease prevention strategy for all Pennsylvanians and to create an expanded, coordinated and citizen-sponsored program of physical fitness and amateur athletic competition.

Don Dillon has been appointed Director of Disc Golf Sports. The Pinchot Disc Golf Association and the Recreational Course at Gifford Pinchot State Park will be hosting the first annual disc golf competition. Various levels of competition, for multiple age groups, will be scheduled during the dates of July 24 thru 26, 2007.

The event is an excellent opportunity to promote the sport of Disc Golf in Pennsylvania and surrounding eligible states. Your assistance will help make this inaugural event a success. The success of this event will encourage players to develop their skills and advance to more challenging courses and seek membership in the PDGA.

After the March, 2007, release of publications, player applications and registration information may be obtained directly from the Keystone Games website referenced above.

Only pre-registered players will be permitted to play. No walk-up registration is allowed.

Let's work together to help promote Disc Golf for all ages!

Further details and information will be posted on this site and in the discussion group at:
